Oct 21 I'M ON VACATION! | SEPTEMBER 29th - OCTOBER 24th, 2022

Back in June 2022, I posted about how I was going to be putting the blog on pause while I went GONE FISHIN’ for a couple weeks (which actually turned out to be more of a GONE PAINTIN’ situation), and then I got back to half-running the blog and half-trying-to-figure-out what I’m doing with the blog (in other words, I took a break and then I got back to blahg’n). Well, now that September has almost turned into October and my Grandma’s 90th birthday party in the province to the right (pun intended) is just around the corner, which is to be followed by a family vacation with the entire family (ie. my parents, brother’s family, sister’s partner, and me & mine), I have come back here to announce that the blog will be going back on pause for another extended chunk of days. Let’s just say from September 29th to October 24th I’m going to be mostly out-of-office.

So, if you don’t hear from me and the HI54 blahg for awhile, please don’t worry, I haven’t totally burned out and decided to just pack things in, it’s just that…

And, while I’M ON VACATION!, I’m going to be trying to keep (mostly) offline… so any of the things that I usually do on a recurring basis, those things will also go on a temporary break (ie. like the Monday YOUR WEEKLY 9(to)5 EH, or the monthly 420 ALL DAY, or the Friday SHUFFLE UP’D EIGHT updates that happen over on MOUN.TOWN/FM, or the Wednesday MOUN.TOWN/RADIO update, and all the other ETC — although, there’s a chance I might randomly update some stuff if I get bored/antsy and pull the laptop out while away).

But don’t fret… there is a whole bunch of “old” content that you can peruse and find a whole bunch of “new-to-you” content that’ll do the trick just the same, so if just jumping to the HI54.BLOG homepage and scrolling downwards until you see something that catches your fancy doesn’t catch your fancy, here’s a couple more specific links you might find worth checking out during this new-content-stoppage:
