The locally-sourced calendar for dang-near EVERY event in the Kimberley & Cranbrook area above is done by the human labour of Jeremy / HI54LOFI. In the not too distant past, there was a nicer looking + more functional events calendar above, but that was back when I was trying to get the independent work that goes into running a Kimberley/Cranbrook events calendar kindly supported through ‘Mutually Beneficial Employment’ collaborations with local businesses/organizations —BUT— I had to pack that idea up when I came to the realization that I was not going to be able to get enough financial support in for the calendar to justify the amount of time spent on the work.
So that’s why there’s a much more basic Google Calendar embedded above. All that being said, I would still like to give a shoutout to the handful of businesses/organizations who signed up for my initial ‘MBE’ experiment: Kimberley Public Library, Kimberley Chamber of Commerce, Mountain Grass Gallery + Bistro, The Hourglass, and Huckleberry Books. Because locals supporting locals supporting locals is the best kind of recurring local event.
On a related note: I was putting together a weekly newsletter called THE WEEKLY EH?! back when I was attempting to run a fancier events calendar thru ‘Mutually Beneficial Employment’, but I put that newsletter on pause around the same time I took a break from updating The 95EH Events Calendar — HOWEVER — I am thinking of experimenting with a BI-WEEKLY EH?! in the very near future, so, if you think you would like to receive a FREE bi-weekly update from the HI54/95EH MOUN.TOWN desk, please add your email address to the sign-up form below:

And you can also always visit the digital-zine that is the 95EH.CA tumblr to see what other local area content is available out there on the URLs and IRLs + you can also follow @95EHdotCA on the Instagram and on the Facebook for even more stuff, like #TheDailyEH and ‘InstaEHs’ and a bunch of other grade ‘EH?!’ material.
Q: OK… but how do I get my local area event/s listed on The 95EH Events Calendar?
This works as simply as you making a Facebook Event for your event — which is probably something you're already doing (and, if not, given how many people use Facebook, especially in the local area, it probably should be something you’re doing)— AND… that's it. After you make a Facebook Event for your event, 95EH will either find your event on Facebook the next time we go on a new event search, or you can also email hey@95eh.ca the link to your Facebook event to make sure it’s not missed (because sometimes Facebook's event searching doesn't work perfectly… basically, if you noticed the 95EH Facebook page marking itself as ‘Interested’ in your event, that means it’s flagged to get added to THE 95EH EVENTS CALENDAR).
Here’s a Facebook post with a bit more detail about all this if you want to read more (but the process on your end is basically just create a Kimberley or Cranbrook or local area public event on Facebook and that’s it).

Q: And what exactly is this ‘mutually beneficial employment’ thing you mentioned earlier?
Well, you can actually read more about that over at: moun.town/mbe
And then if you have any other questions or queries that I have not pre-guessed above, you can just send a “hey?!” over the internets via ancient email technology to:
