I started playing around with sorting my Spotify ‘liked’ music by monthly listener counts, and since I’ve accumulated + continue to accumulate a lot of ‘liked’ music, I thought it might be interesting to keep ongoing 95-track playlists for certain listener thresholds. This one is for those with more than 1 million monthly listeners.

This one is for those with more than 10k monthly listeners (and <100k).

This one is for those with less than 1000 monthly listeners.

In an attempt to free up some headspace for other work during these last couple weeks of October, I’ll be taking a break from creating new Mixcloud mixes EVERY Thursday and instead will be sharing some old mixes that were posted to Mixcloud before HI54.BLOG even existed. This one goes back to March 2012 :)

When trying to put together a playlist that "sounds like fall", sometimes it is best not to think too much about what *exactly* that means and just go with what feels fall-ish.

The HI54 ‘Provincial Playlists’ idea continues, this time with 95 nice tracks from 95 different artists being carefully exported from the Canadian province of Quebec for your listening pleasure / headphone tourism needs.
