Mix Tape Radio on FRUK: Episode 030
Episode 30 does something that hasn't happened for about 10 episodes… it is exactly 1 hour long. I used to spend a lot of time trying to get mixes to be exactly 60 minutes long, but after the show moved to the format of airing straight on Folk Radio UK's Mixcloud page (rather than first airing for a week on their radio channel) exact times became a bit unnecessary. But this week, it just so happens that everything fell together for a 1:00:00 finish (ok, there was a few minor tweaks to get it from 00:59:57). I'd tell you about some of the great tunes / artists that feature on this 30th attempt at making a sweet mix tape… but I've already met my required opening paragraph quota. So just push play and enjoy (and you'll find links / track listing below so you can explore further on anything you like).
Hope you enjoy what you hear… and if you do, please hit those Heart & Share buttons and pass this show on to anyone you know that has the same fine taste in music as you.

And of course, you can always swing by the HI54LOFI Mixcloud page and listen to all 30 episodes of the 'Mix Tape Radio On FRUK' show. Or, swing by iTunes and download the last 29 shows (Episode 30 will go up on iTunes in the next week or so… so it wouldn't be a bad idea to click the subscribe button while you're there, no?). And of course, there is also the 24hr stream of tunes that is the Mix Tape Radio internet radio station (where, at some point, you'll hear most of these songs + a whole bunch of others in the pretty big and always getting bigger rotation of quality tuneage).
And remember to remember: music makes all our lives a bit more bearable, but the continued making of that music requires all us listeners to give a little love back (whether that be by buying what we like or even just spreading the word / letting the artist know how much you dig it). Anything beyond silent appreciation goes a long way.
