“Doing: organized games with friends (I like ping pong, tennis). Using: the ‘do not disturb’ feature on your phone while you sleep. Thinking: nice things about your friends and telling them. Eating: kimchi.”
“Songwriting at its best. An album of unimaginable intensity written with a surprising, straightforward honesty. Joanna Sternberg is a voice to listen and to cry with.”
“Elevate your legs for at least 10 minutes a day. Helps relieve stress, improve circulation, and boost your mood. I've also had a lot of revelations when doing this so I equate it to a gentle high.”
“Everyone should dedicate one full day, or perhaps a section of each day, where they do not touch their phones at all and leave them aside on airplane. This could minimize the intensity of the ensuing zombie apocalypse. This could help people slow down in an unnecessarily intense society.”
“Less rustic than This Time Last Night but equally enchanting! The melodies, her voice and her stories make Esther Rose one of the best singer-songwriters out there.”
A Playmoss playlist for all the Bandcamp tracks shuffle up’d in August 2019.
“Love Milo's worldview, over some great, spacey and laid back beats (massive attack?). His lyrics about the Internet age, mental illness and philosophy are so relatable for me. <3”
