THE HI54 HOT 95, EH | >100k MONTHLY LISTENERS

I started playing around with sorting my Spotify ‘liked’ music by monthly listener counts, and since I’ve accumulated + continue to accumulate a lot of ‘liked’ music, I thought it might be interesting to keep ongoing 95-track playlists for certain listener thresholds. This one is for those with more than 100k monthly listeners (but <1 million).

20 from '06 | THE HI54 YEARBOOK MIXES

The ‘HI54 YEARBOOK MIXES’ series continues with music from the year 2006 — featuring tunes from The Avett Brothers, Cat Power, Hot Chip, Camera Obscura + a whole bunch more… it’s a nice 2006 vintage to stick in your headphones.

This one is for those with less than 100 monthly listeners.

ARCHIVES | NOTHING ON TV

In an attempt to free up some headspace for other work during these last couple weeks of October, I’ll be taking a break from creating new Mixcloud mixes EVERY Thursday and instead will be sharing some old mixes that were posted to Mixcloud before HI54.BLOG even existed. This one goes back 11 years :)

THE MIX TAPE RADIO MIX CDs | DISC 25

Here's the 25th instalment of the bi-weekly Mixcloud series where I go back to the iTunes organizational system I had setup when I used to run a 24/7 internet radio station, and then I shuffle up a selection of 95-tracks that have been rated as 'Mix Tape Radio approved' and put together an 18-track HI54 Mixed CD.
