“Delicate is the perfect title… fragile yet powerful… the kind of album that gets into every part of your brain, heart and soul. I'll be on this one for a good bit now.”
This isn’t a competition. It’s a collaboration.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED W/ MAGANA
“Go outside! Life is so much better when you have real air and real sun and all that good stuff. Maybe even go camping! But if you can't go camping... just make sure you go outside at least one time when the sun in shining.”
EPS 089 | THE MIX TAPE RADIO SHOW
Things kick off with a Hayes Carll tune that hits closer to home if you've recently started anew in a new town, and before things close of with The Supremes, you'll hear: a dope "Paint It Black" cover, Molly Burch, Jim Ford and a bunch more.
HI54LO5: LOVE MAN
“This album doesn't really bring anything “new” to the table that I had already carved “I <3 OTIS” into, so I will just get out my pocket knife and add a double underline.”
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED W/ HENRY DEMOS
“The next time you travel, don't stay in a hotel, hostel, Air BNB, or whatever. Just see what happens. Yeah this might seem silly since you can book a cheap place in minutes now. Fuck that. The stories you'll come home and the people you'll meet will be well worth it.”
FANDCAMP: PUBERTY 2
“The beauty of this album hits you like a baseball bat.”
HI54LO5: Always On My Mind
“The 'Benjamin Button on college trip to Aspen' cover pulls you in. The 'every track could be a last song of the night slow jam' holds you close.”
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED W/ FREDRICK ARNOLD
“While I almost hesitate to suggest this, because I often wonder if I’d be happier if I could just settle for mediocrity, I think we could all benefit from disrupting the complacency in our lives.”
FANDCAMP: WINTER WHEAT
“John K. Samson is a national treasure and this new album is no exception.”
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED W/ JON DOYLE
“This one is hard. I'm still working my way through a haul of chocolates that good old Chris Cringle brought at Christmas (it's like Willy Wonka's storeroom in the house) so maybe I could recommend a few cocoa-based treats?”
