EPS 095 | THE MIX TAPE RADIO SHOW
The 95th episode kicks off with the old soul vibes of Molly Burch and before things close out with a pro-car-crashing rocker from The Nova Darlings, you'll hear Why Bonnie, Wilder Maker, a clip from Jack Kornfield's recent chat with Duncan Trussell, Adult Mom + a bunch more good sound wave makers. Sound good?
Fandcamp: Quit the Curse
“These songs hit me right in the feels I wont lie”
Fandcamp: Tall Hours In The Glowstream
“This album is driving me mad with its genius.”
FANDCAMP: Animal Races
“Absolutely amazing garage rock gone ever so mellow. Still packs a punch tho....”
FANDCAMP: HS
“One of my favourite albums ever, just grows and grows with every passing listen. Such a magical songwriter.”
EPS 094 | THE MIX TAPE RADIO SHOW
Episode 94 starts and ends with covers of songs with a certain haunted heaviness to them. And inbetween those bookends you'll find a couple Davey and The Somethings + a bunch of none Davey reasons to press play. So just press play and enjoy.
FANDCAMP: No Burden
“Such a great voice, great songs. The album starts with more upbeat numbers but what makes the album so great are the ballads and lower-key songs. I will be looking for this on vinyl. Five champagne corks out of Five.”
FANDCAMP: A Band Is Something To Figure Out
“You can never go wrong with HTH!”
FANDCAMP: Where We Were Together
“All of my most cherished influences echoing back from the opposite side of the world. The whole album just shines from start to finish, and the love that went into making this record really shows through in the pristine production. This is simply great songwriting free of any pretension. Just beautiful and you can't help but smile.”
