Here's a halloween-ish mix of tunes for you to put on while you put your spooky face on or while you bop around the house feeling a little bit sinister. Your call if you only want to do that once a year.
An ongoing 95-track mix of artists/music with Indigenous blood (mainly focused on North America as I live in Canada + I also have a playlist called SOUTH OF AMERICA which is mostly Indigenous too). And, yes, I also have been watching/enjoying Reservation Dogs.
A good backyard bbq playlist should consist of the kind of songs that get heads nodding and toes tapping and maybe a few booties thinking about shaking, but it should also not be so overpowering with the 'party vibes' that it makes it hard to carry a conversation on while you go for a second helping of 'slaw. This playlist is 5+ hours of that.
An ongoing shuffle of 95 tracks that capture some of the vibes that bounce around the air when, like myself, you find yourself kicking about in a mountain town (or 'Mountown' for short / easier hashtagging).
A Valentines Day-ish playlist that you can throw on the speakers for Valentines Day or really just any day that you're feeling like feeling some Valentines-ish feelings.
I realize it's a bit cliche to make a reggae playlist for 4/20 — BUT — I've also been meaning to dive into making a 95-track reggae playlist for awhile now, SO, the fact that April 20th + Reggae are both associated with marijuana, let's just say everything kinda happened organically.

Sometimes you don't want the wheel reinvented, you just want someone else to do their version of an already solid wheel so you can take that new version of the same old wheel out for some fresh new spins around the block. Or maybe that's a rubbish analogy about cover songs and I should have just said something like "Who doesn't like a big ol' playlist full of cover songs?"
Just some tunes to throw on while the corrupt version of capitalism we’ve been sold for generations keeps crumbling all around us. Because change needs to start on the inside, and music can help speed up the process — or, as Jarvis so eloquently pointed out back in ‘06: “the c*nts are still running the world” ✊
