Mix Tape Radio: Episode 038
As I'll be tourist'n it up in York for the next few days (the old English York, not the new American one), I figured I better get the latest episode up a little bit earlier (i.e. Sunday night, instead of the usual Monday afternoon). This latest episode features 18 ace tracks and because of that, the whole episode makes for a rather nice soundtrack to any hour of any day. I'd tell you more about what's on this episode, but I got some packing to do and an early train to catch tomorrow. Besides, listening to what's on a mix tape is funner than having the guy who made it tell you what's on it. Right?
So go on and press play on the player below…

And of course, you can always swing by the HI54LOFI Mixcloud page and listen to all 38 episodes of the 'Mix Tape Radio' show. And/Or, swing by iTunes and download the last 37 shows for FREE / subscribe to all future episodes (Episode 38 will be going up on iTunes in about a week… so it wouldn't be a bad idea to click the subscribe button while you're there, no?). And of course, there is also the 24hr stream of tunes that is the Mix Tape Radio internet radio station (where, at some point, you'll hear most of these songs + a whole bunch of others in the pretty big and always getting bigger rotation of quality tuneage). Oh yeah… you'll also find a lot of these tunes (and whole bunch of other gems) on the 'Bandcamp Radio' I recently (re)setup.
Finally, please remember to remember the following: music makes all our lives a bit more bearable, but the continued making of that music requires all of us listeners to give a little love back. Whether that be by buying what we like, sharing a metaphorical pint, or even just the simple act of spreading the word / letting the artist know how much you dig it, anything beyond silent appreciation goes a long way.
