The Mix Tape Radio Show is a series of digital mix tapes that I’ve been putting together on Mixcloud for more than a few sporadic years; sometimes there were new episodes every 2nd week, sometimes there was nothing for months. Having a music blog is sketch like that.

So, in an attempt to find a routine that (hopefully) makes it more likely to get a new mix tape out the door every week, I've decided to combine a few different tasks/blog features into one. And since I started doing a weekly feature called "SHUFFLE UP'D EIGHT" to highlight eight tracks from a recent HI54 Mix CD shuffle update, I figured I could start mixing those 8 tracks into a nice mix tape every Monday. Boom! Multiple birds, one stone.

So, without any further ado-ing, here is EPISODE 107 of THE MIX TAPE RADIO SHOW:

…which has been created by shuffling up the much bigger than 8 tracks/artists selection currently making up the HI54 Mix CD ‘420 ≠ ALL DAY’ — which features 420 total tracks (because that’ll play for 24hrs straight without repeating a track/artist) and which just so happens to get 54 new tracks rotated in at the start of every month (so follow on Spotify or Soundsgood for future updates/listens)

As always… if you find your ears enjoying what they’re hearing, there are some pretty decent odds that following HI54LOFI over on Mixcloud for future/more episodes would not be the worst use of one of your internet clicks today. And it probably wouldn’t be too bad idea to follow/shuffle thru the rest of the HI54 Mix CD that this week’s Mix Tape Radio Show episode was created from.
